When my friend Tammy recently visited, I was bummed to discover she suffered from sore wrists from working long hours on the computer.
She kept rubbing her hand and I could tell it was painful.
Tammy asked if I knew of any way to naturally comfort her wrists, and my first thought was essential oils.
Essential oils are so quick and easy to use and have very few side effects–even for people already on pharmaceuticals.
Tammy was game, so we gave it a go!
One of the reasons I love doTERRA so much is because doTERRA makes it really easy to help your friends and family with oils.
If you are a “Helper” type of person like me, you will find the company very synergistic!
Anyhow, all I had to do was look up a couple of recipes on my Modern Essentials iPhone app, and we were ready to go. (Modern Essentials is like the “Bible” of essential oils.)
Essential Oils to Comfort Your Wrists
Here’s a list of the oils needed for the application:
- Basil
- Cypress
- Lemongrass
- Marjoram
- Oregano
- Peppermint
Below is what we did her sore arm to naturally comfort her sore wrists.
First, I put a drop of basil and drop of marjoram on her shoulder.
Then, I massaged the oils in very well.
Next, I put a drop of lemongrass on her wrist and a drop of oregano on her shoulder on the rotator cup.
After that, I massaged both well into the skin.
Then, I put a drop of marjoram and drop of cypress on her wrists, and another drop of cypress on her shoulder, massaging the oils in everywhere very well.
The last thing I did was rub a couple of drops of peppermint from her shoulder down her arm to the wrist and tips of each finger, massaging in the fingers really well.
Tammy visited for several hours. Her arm and hand felt much better after the application of the oils. She was amazed!
So, if you’re suffering and looking for a way to naturally comfort your wrists, give it a try and let me know what you think!
